Essuman Creations, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Color Season Match Chrome extension (the "Extension"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Extension.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. These are stored securely via Supabase, our authentication and database provider. Your password is encrypted and never stored in plain text.

Usage Data

We track your daily usage count (number of color analyses performed) to manage free tier limits. This counter is stored on our servers and resets every 24 hours.

Color Season Preference

We store your selected color season preference both locally on your device and on our servers to provide personalized analysis results across devices.

Analysis Data

The Extension uses Chrome's EyeDropper API to read color values from web pages. We process the resulting hex codes to determine seasonal palette matches. We do not capture screenshots, page content, or any data beyond the specific color values you select.

Purchase Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your subscription, but we never collect or store your credit card number, CVV, or billing details. Stripe handles all payment data directly under their own privacy policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide seasonal matching results for the colors you select
• Authenticate your account and manage your session
• Track daily usage for free tier limits
• Store your preferences across devices
• Process subscription payments
• Improve our color analysis algorithms

Data Storage and Security

• Account data (email, subscription status, usage counters) is stored securely on Supabase servers
• Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser's extension storage
• All data transmission between the Extension and our servers uses HTTPS encryption
• When you delete your account, your Extension data is wiped and your credentials are invalidated
• We use industry-standard security measures to protect data during transmission and storage

Third-Party Services

The Extension uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — user authentication and data storage
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of data. No user data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Your Rights

You can:

• Delete your account and all associated Extension data through the Account page
• Change your color season preference at any time
• Reset your password at any time
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Uninstall the Extension to remove all locally stored data

Children's Privacy

The Extension is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy and updating the "Last updated" date.
